Structured in a similar way to the London tailoring houses, our staff are each experts in their different fields.
Simon founded the company in 2001 after a career in an international tailoring business to concentrate exclusively on bespoke hand tailoring.
Managing a small company is constantly challenging, but the satisfaction of working for exceptional clients makes it all worthwhile.
In his spare time he enjoys traveling, visiting markets wherever he is and spending time in the kitchen. He likes being based in Budapest.
The cultural life, particularly classical music is very inspiring.
Dóra has been a partner in the company since it started in 2001. She has a degree in garment engineering and having spent a few years in the UK
after finishing college, has always worked in the tailoring business. Her experience in people management and administration has been invaluable
in helping the company grow. On a day to day basis she manages the fabric and trim cutting. Something of a drama buff, when not at the cutting
table she can often be found at one of Budapest’s many theatres.
Éva has been working with Simon for nearly ten years, although only recently in Budapest. Hailing
from Magyarkanizsa in Serbia, where Simon and his partner have a house, Eva has always worked in
clothing. She now is the main jacket assistant and is a wizard at complex alterations. Having worked
for many years in a sewing room specialising in stretch fabrics her fabric handling skills are excellent.
Milán joined us in 2016. With a background in retail menswear and fashion styling, he is now
responsible for the front of house and customer communications. After having worked for an
international chain of menswear stores he is now finding the challenge of developing and sourcing
new products exciting. Growing up in a sporty family, his early dreams of becoming a professional
handball player have changed over the years as his interest in fashion and style grew. He now
contents himself with a few sets of tennis per week to keep in shape.
Armand got hooked on tailoring after seeing the film „Oscar” with Sylvester Stallone. After training in
various tailoring establishments in Budapest he was introduced to Simon in early 2018. He is now
specializing in trouser making and is looking forward to joining the jacket team soon.
Dénes also started in the workroom after some years of retail experience. He became curious how clothes were actually
put together and decided to learn the necessary skills to not just sell but also create clothes from scratch.
